Also in the show "Beauty and the Beast" the one with Catherine and Vincent...one of the shows had a demon (who looked like Vincent) named Baka. It was cool when Vincent came to save Catherine...the man who was worshipping Baka...began yelling "Baka! Baka!" My brother remembered that episode and started saying it just to say it...so I have picked it up...

Hey there...it's me again. It's been awhile since I have posted anything. I have begun taking piano lessons. This is a new experience for me. I had taken lessons before, but the teacher got married and decided not to teach anymore. I have wanted to pick it up again, but just haven't done it. My teacher is excited about what I'm doing...so we will see how things will go.

I had a good weekend/starting Thursday. We had a church picnic. It was pretty fun. The older folks stayed by the fire most of the time. Then after they left, the young people stood around the fire. It was a good time of fellowship.

Friday, I cleaned my bathroom. It's all nice and looking good for now. I washed the towels on Saturday morning, and wanted to hang them out, but it rained most of the day. D33 had invited some of us to go to the hayride at his church, but that was cancelled too. Mary and I were going to meet up with them, and since it was cancelled, we just hung out and watched movies. I had a good time. Got to watch two good movies.

Sunday we had a very thought provoking message in the morning. I'm beginning to work on some things that God has brought to my attention. It's a struggle sometimes to open myself to doing something where in the past I have been crushed or hurt. I know God is working though...so I'm going to trust Him.

Tonight is the new season of 7th Heaven begins. My parents are gone, so I'm taping it for them. I hope it doesn't go corny this season...although it's been heading that way for some time.

I have been watching CSI the third season...I'm glad I'm able to see the episodes I have missed. I hope I'll get to watch some of this season...but I have already missed the first show...oh well...life goes on. LOL!!

Hey there...this weekend was a little crazy. My sister and her family were still here until Saturday...I wish I could have stayed to say good-bye, but I was chaperoning a trip with the junior church to Kings Island. Friday night, we watched "The Greatest Game Ever Played." It was pretty good...Marcus had called me while I was at work and wanted to know when I would be home to watch the movie...I still had an hour to work. He really wanted me to come home then.

The trip to Kings Island on Saturday was fun...after I had gotten some medication to help with the congestion I was feeling in my nose. Rick, one of the parents that went with us, was hilarious. He cracked me up after we finished the White Water Canyon. I laughed so hard at him and my friend D33...because they got soaked. On the way home, D33 entertained the kids with stories, reciting movie scenes, and singing the Sponge Bob Squarepants theme song. That was funny...I couldn't believe he knew all of the words to it.

Sunday was a good day...I slept in the afternoon while Sammi watched some movies. I was tired from the trip. That evening, D33 came to church since his church didn't have an evening service. Afterward we went to Ben and Kat's to watch "The Italian Job." It was a fun night...but I was still tired from the previous day. I ended up oversleeping on Monday for work. It was crazy.

Yesterday I worked in Flatwoods, and today I worked in Greenup. Tomorrow I'll be working the morning in Flatwoods then go to Greenup and finish up the day. My dad made a comment about me being needed...I just laughed.

Well...my food is about finished...I need to get it out of the oven. Until next time...

Well...it's Monday. It was a weird day at work...tomorrow I'll be at the Flatwoods office. I hope I will get to work on my list of things to do while I'm there. My sister is visiting this week. She is spending a little more time with us. All the other siblings left already. The kids are fun to have around...

I bought the movie "The Second Chance" with Michael W. Smith. I watched part of it...I didn't give my full attention to it. I hope I'll be able to watch it sometime this week.

This weekend, I will be chaperoning a trip to Kings Island. I can't wait. I hope things go well on the trip.

A CRAZY WEEK

My mission trip presentation went very well...in fact...there was a major surprise after my presentation. My entire family (with the exception of one brother-in-law) was there to wish my dad a happy 75th birthday. They also came here to work on the house. Two of my brothers and one brother-in-law have been working on replacing the floor in the bathroom and laundry room. In the process of that...we discovered our hot water heater is leaking...so we have replaced it as well. The living room has also been painted. It reminds me of my former employment place...but I'll live with it. It would have been cool if they had went with a little darker color. Anyway...the room has been painted and trim work put up. It has been a great week.

I took Thursday off work...I got the living room ready to be painted, then took the kids swimming. After that we went out to eat for my dad's birthday. Last night, I took my niece Karis shopping. I had to purchase a seat cover for the driver's seat in the car. I'll purchase the other one later...the driver seat needs it more than the other one.

Today will be a day to put everything back together and then we are having another party in the fellowship hall of my parents church.

Mission Trip Presentation...

Hey there...it's me again...and the weekend. I'm glad tomorrow is not a work day. I'm at my sister's house spending the night. Her and her husband will be going on a date tomorrow while I babysit. Tonight Mike went to a friend's house and I was getting the boys to bed...I forgot their medication. When Mike got home, he was able to give Brock his medication, but Jacob and Nicholas were already asleep. I have no idea what we will do tomorrow...I hope we will get to go swimming some. It's always nice to swim.

Two words...VANILLA FROSTY...two more words...VERY GOOD. Mike had one in the freezer...it has a great taste of vanilla. I'll have to get another one sometime soon.

Work was okay today...it seemed there were a lot of problems to deal with...Kim did well. I know she get frustrated because she is still learning things, but she's doing great. Brent stayed only part of the day. Mike was there though in case we needed answers to hard questions. Claude took the day off. He wanted to go early last night, but I told him he couldn't do it because we needed an agent in the office and Brent was gone. It was funny to see him get upset about it.

Tonight, the boys wanted to watch "Ice Age." It's a good movie...but I have seen it several times. Brock likes the baby in the movie...he is fascinated with babies now.

Last night I went to the movies with Sammi. We saw "The Devil Wears Prada." It was okay...it wasn't exactly what I was expecting...I was glad I had only paid $3.50 for the ticket. It would have been okay to rent...but I'm glad I saw the movie.

After work yesterday, I went by Nicholas' karate class. He was getting his belt for the next level. He kept asking if Nana and Pepaw were coming. He wanted them to come so bad. Leah was glad I was able to come and see it. Mom and dad were tried from working at Southland all day.

My dad's bone scan will be next week. Another appointment will be scheduled to discuss treatment options. Those of you who pray...I would appreciate those prayers. He's a very special man...and I love him dearly.

It's me again...I have had a pretty busy end of the week/weekend. My brother was here until Friday night. On Thursday, we went to my nephew's karate class. He was testing for his belt. He did well and gets the next belt this week. We went to eat afterward and had a good time. *Cute story...we went to Fiesta Bravo to eat...I had to run to the bookstore to pick up a book I had ordered. I took my two nephews David and Nicholas with me. Nicholas was walking through the mall and was pointing at different stores. He pointed to CJ Banks and said, "that's your store." I thought it was cute how he remembered that I like to go to CJ Banks. He also thinks that Bath & Body Works is my store too...because he was with me once when I went to get some soap. He's so funny because he remembers so much.* That night my nephews Jacob and Nicholas spent the night with my nephew David. Paul had them all upstairs...thank goodness. LOL!! Friday I went to work and had a pretty busy day. When I got home, Nicholas asked me if I was on my lunch break...I told him I was home for the evening and he was glad. We watched some tv together. We did some fun stuff, and they all left. I went to my friend D33's new place. Kayla had invited some of us over. It ended up with just Ben and Kat. A lot of the gang was doing something already this weekend. We had a good time anyway. We had pizza and watched "Benchwarmers"...so funny. I got home after midnight...and when I pulled into the driveway, realized I didn't have my housekey. I had to walk around to my parents window and knock on it. Daddy was a little upset having to open the door and let me in.

I woke up a little later than usual on Saturday...it felt good to sleep in. I did a load of white clothes and hung them on the line to dry. After I brought them in, I went to Kat's house to swim. It was a good time. I came home and took a nap...and watched some tv...and went to bed.

Sunday was a good day...busy, but good. Sammi sang in the morning service...and did a good job. That night, Ben sang "My Savior, My God" and it was good too. I came really close to shouting when he finished...I settled for just testifying instead. I came back home and watched some more tv...then went to bed.

This morning, I got up and did my workout...then headed to work. It was a rough day...a long one...and it was hot about 80 degrees inside. I hate when Brent turns off the air over the weekend...it takes it until Friday to feel decent in the office. I can't wait until cooler weather. Fall and Winter...I'm ready.

Well...It's going to be a crazy week this week...Joyce is on vacation. I'm working over this week...probably a lot. I am, however, going to go to the movies on Thursday night. I can't wait.
